I just saw Top Gear, and they raced the P1 against the Evo VI, Vicki was driving the P1 and Tiff the EVO, the EVO just crushed the Impreza http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif

I think I'm gonna stop buying TG, they preffer RWD to AWD (also in family cars), they are biased towards German cars and it looked too strange, like Vicki wasn't pushing the P1 (no udersteer or oversteer?!)

Have you ever seen Vicky in a competition? I've seen her come last to a bunch of family men at Brands in Renault Spiders. It's good to have her as a presenter, as it makes a change to have girl driving the fast cars - but for comparison purposes, look elsewhere (when Vicky was in the Evo, she only just managed to beat Tiff in a 17 year old quattro).

Not quite on topic....but my UK MY00 is slower than the 'W' reg Evo 6 Extreme (340ps, I believe) that I ended up behind last night! On average, he didn't get away from me (no, we weren't racing - I stayed 80 - 100 yards back all the time) but he was braking far more cautiously than needed on some bends, which allowed me to catch up. Couldn't get anywhere near him on the straights though

I even opened my window just to hear his exhaust. Marvellous!

Anyone been in an Extreme? How do you blag a test drive in one?

I think I want one (as a second car to the Scoob of course!)
