TSL thunderCAT - MOT results

Paul,

Just to pass on my thanks to everyone at TSL for coming up with this lovely piece of engineering! :D

Not only does the car now purr and roar with a lovely raspy edge at times, the performance increase is lovely but it is completely and wonderfully legal! :D

I know it was promised but I thought some independent evidence from an MOT station no where near you and that is known for being very by the book would be nice!

You can follow the link, or look below:

While under load the car produced:

CO - 0 (zero)ppm
HC - 99 ppm (limit being 200ppm)

Glorious, the guy said he was very impressed standard can Scoobs get higher results than that!

No I wonder if I can get my tax reduced! ;)

Cheers guys and ladies.

Mark

Don't start! I ned to come up for a visit to sort out the clutch at some point soon!

I DO NOT NEED Anti-lag! ;)

Yes, finally the French have done something right ;)

The tester was none to pleased as he looked at the system and the apparent lack of cat and said it would fail. He then had to hand over £10 to the sales guy that said it would pass! ;)

do you find the sports cat still gives a cel - quick reset on the psi3 sorts it out, i will get my ecu tek tweeked to sort this - but I agree it passes the mot and a quality job ;)

I got the sensors tweaked to sort that out, it wasn't an issue and it took Richard all f two minutes to sort.

I was there just to get the induction kit removed and airbox with green filter installed as well (and another tweak to the ma to ensure all was good).

The PSI3 monitor is great when the light comes on... a lamda sensor and emissions so I can ignore that then! ;)

Apparently it was due to the lamda threshold not being wide enough to cope with the increase in the gas flow, well that is what it sound to my technically uninclined brain! ;)
