Is it worth getting a lightened flywheel?

I'm just about to put a new engine in my motor and contemplating whether its worth putting in a lightened fly.

The main pro would appear to be a faster reving more responsive engine and con's include possible surging on freeway driving, loosing revs/boost on gear changes, stalling the thing at low rpm on clutch.

In practice for the scoob given that the car is mainly used as a daily driver is it going to be a nightmare to drive or for the expense ($750) vs benefits am I better putting the cash towards other mods eg. a new turbo? ie.

A 7-8kg fly will offer an immediately noticeable improvement in throttle response without causing any of the undesirable cons you mention.
