Advice on cleaning HKS ind.kit?

Can anybody tell me the correct procedure for cleaning the "Green Mushroom"on my HKS Super Powerflow ind kit.Do you have to replace the filter element,or can you wash the existing one & put it back. Also can you tell me the best iridium plugs & how much and where from?
Thanks everyone!..

You can replace the green filter element for about £21 from most HKS dealers.

Yes I agree,

The foams aren't designed to be washed. They are coated with a chemical that dirt sticks to. If you don't recoat it after washing, it won't be providing the necessary filtration.

Also washing these filters repeatedly can cause shrinkage over time which will mean the filter won't fully fill out the mushrooom casing and yoiu will end up letting unfiltered air in.

Or go to a motorcycle shop and you can buy cleaner and replacement oil.. just did in on my bike with a foam filter..
cost about £10..

Replacement oil is in a spray can.
