Good Restaurant in Cheltenham
Anyone got any ideas for a nice meal with the family on a Saturday night (after having the car mapped by Mr Rawle)
Anything really Thai Mexican Chinese ?English? about £30 a head ?? Tal |
Try "The Daffodil" in Suffolk Parade. I like it. Nice decor as well....
You'll have to book for a Saturday night though, as it gets very busy. Shades |
Curry Corner. luverly nosh.
UB:D |
looks good
What about That Mexican ?? Tal |
If you want English, the Rising Sun on Cleeve hill is good.
That Mexican place was pretty good. Love their natchos with assorted dips :D Damn i'm hungry now! Andy |
Le Champignon Sauvage...
...bit more than £30 though :D Seriously, if you like food, it's one of the best restaurants in the country, but I agree with Shades, the Daffodil, a converted Art Deco cinema, is good. |
Another vote for the Daffodil, will cost a bit more than £30 though depending as to your drinking capabilities :D We had three courses + coffees with copious amounts of wine a few months back and that was around £40 a head. :)
Upstairs@The Beehive is good. Gastro pub type stuff. Thai - Thai Bistro is ace and not too pricey. Mexican - That Mexican Place is the only one I can think of at the moment. Chinese - The Ruby is very good. Italian - Il Bottelinos - If you want to stuff yourself silly on quality Pizza. :D If your feeling extravagent Le Champignon Sauvage or Le Petit Blanc. Doubt you would get a booking now though. And of course the numerous Curry houses along and around the Bath Road Graz. :) |
Gianni ristorante- by the bus station- quality italian-my personal fave
Il Bottelinos(sp?) again, good italian Le petit blanc if you are feeling flush/flash Been told there is a nice place down Rodney road (lol) but ive never tried it out before.. For oriental type food- try Jim Thompsons (behind the pulpit) which has a good reputation. |
Where did you go Tal????????????
