Rear antiroll bar,link pin HELP!!
Ok fellas here goes..
Took car for a MOT today and it needs o/s/rear Antiroll bar link pin. WTF is this? Is it diy job?Is it expensive? Many thanx in advance :) |
Do they mean the drop link? This connects the anti-roll bar with the wheel.
If so, expect to pay around £70 from a dealer for this piece of plastic!! I would have thought that if one side needs replacing, you may want to think about doing the other side at the same time to prevent any possible handling problems? Could diy fit, if you can get the old one off! 5 min job if you get a garage to do it. |
Might want to consider fitting solid drop links rather than the plastic ones.. like Whiteline ones for example.
easy to switch and takes no time what so ever. JGM :) |
Many thanks to you both...
As iam not a mechanic, can any of you do a diagram and explain this link?pin? MOT sheet says"o/s/r link pin". Thanks again Spike |
Ok got them both done today.
Fitted them myself,dead easy :D :D |
Sorry missed your other reply otherwise I could have taken a picture etc..
Glad you got it sorted JGM :) |
