Oil Pump Relief valve spring mod

Can anyone give me details of the company who supply the stiffer spring for this, or give me the Lee Spring Ref No. for the right spring?

I think a company/guy called Firefox had something to do with it...

Cheers
Dave

Dave,

You can get an oil pump complete with modified relief valve from Roger Clark Motorsport. Their web site isn't complete but it's www.rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk I think that it's about £140 but don't know if that includes VAT. I'm not aware of anybody doing just the modded bits on their own.

Raymond.

we used to do this stuff on rally cars... we'd fix a washer under the existing spring though

A good modified pump does not increase oil pressure per say. Not the reason for doing it.

Thanks for the replies.

Bob,

I just heard that the std pump had a tendancy for the relief valve to stick.

Is there a quick/cheap/cheap mod to help avoid this?

Thanks all
