Golf R32 tuning
Friend of my is getting pissed off as my Cooper S ( slightly tuned well 243 hp according to AmD ) keeps up with his R32 without much problem, he recently sold his 2.5 Boxster also kept up with that in my spam chariot, he has only had it for a month or so and is looking into getting it tuned....
It sounds pretty good to me but he wants an exhaust and more power any tips ? I would have thought that the n/a engine would already be pretty well tuned so would be difficult to get more power out of it... Do you need lots of money to throw at it ? unlike the forced induction VW cars... Oh and who are the best tuners...? He needs a boost as he has already lost a few quid on it as it seems the R32 is flooding the market at the moment and cars are becoming much cheaper. |
Everyone and I mean everyone is going for the Stage 2 @ AMD at the moment.....
http://www.auto-amd.com/mk4r32.asp I think PSLEWIS has had his done on here and I'm sure he'll be along soon to tell all. |
I've got the Stage 2 AmD conversion - on the rollers at 272bhp, and it is well worth doing :D
I got Milltek to prototype a straight through front pipe system (still has a cat, just takes the resonator out) which sounds awesome, and they have sold loads since :D |
