Comic genius, all round prophet and unfortunately dead. I was watching revelations last night on DVD and I can't believe how much of what he says is still true.

Has to be one of the funniest comedians I have ever heard.
His biography "American Scream" is an excellent read for all fans.

Any other opinions?

With you on this one 100%!! He really was a genius. One of my all time favourite comedians. Just a pity he didn't leave more material behind.

On Drugs
No, I don't do drugs anymore, either. But I'll tell you something about drugs, I used to do drugs, but I'll tell you something honestly about drugs, honestly, and I know it's not a very popular idea, you don't hear it very often anymore, but it is the truth- I had a great time doing drugs. Sorry. Never murdered anyone, never robbed anyone, never raped anyone, never beat anyone, never lost a job, a car, a house, a wife or kids, laughed my ass off, and went about my day. Sorry.

Just been talking to a guy at work about him and he says that there is a new book coming out called "Love all the people" supposed to have unpublished lyrics and routines, my next investment I think :D
