wr1 servicing

just happened to pop into my local subaru dealers and they had just received a fax saying that wr1 models will require 5000 mile services!!!
also said 03 driving lights should be available in march
martin-glad i got a sti8(only joking)

Not surprised to hear it. 10,000 miles was always far too long an interval if the mechanical wellbeing of the car is a primary consideration.

IMO all current Imprezas should have two simple (oil change, ECU diag check, check everything over) services in between the main 10K one...

i get my oil changed every 5000 miles but i presume the wr1 servicing will be more like the evo servicing?

I'd heard they were considering it on future 'enhancements' but wasn't sure that would include the WR1 PPP.

Makes sense though, with the higher reving STi engines.
