sti8 cat pipe
 
hi all i have at long last gotten hold of an sti8 uk without ppp at the moment and have aquired a straight through centre cat replacement pipe which i had for my bug eyed sti7 but never fitted could u tell me what differance am i likely to get eg performance noise ect as im gonna fit it the weekend after my 1000 mile service cheers

Ive got a centre de cat and removed the resonator box also (TSL Centre Pipes)and the car does rev a bit more freely. The pipes are coupled to a prodrive rear box which is non restrictive but also not too noisy. I did have a firestorm back box fitted but got fed up with the droning and the headaches on long journeys, although the sound was superb.
Went on the rollers at Power Engineering and got 288bhp and a small increase in torque.. also running a panel filter..
