Sorry about postin this but can't use search at the mo.

What's the main differences between a 97 wrx and a MY98 uk model.

I know the bit about the 260bhp power on the wrx but any others? ie suspension etc.

WRX (non-STI) vs UK MY98

Later facelift 97 WRX's had 276 bhp (and 240 lbft torque) using a bigger turbo than UK cars. The ECU is also different and they are designed to run on at least 97-98 ron fuel. Some people would even recommend 100 ron...
Other differences on the WRX include:
Colour coded electrically folding mirrors, rear wiper, slightly shorter gearing, climate control, electric radio aerial, slightly stiffer suspension, aluminium bonnet, no centre exhaust cat.
Can't think of too much else at the moment.
