Hi John,

Just to get the thread started.

Prosport in Stockport, went last saturday to use their rolling road and everthing i saw there give me the impression that they know what theyre on about.

I will certainly be using them for the bigger mechanical jobs such as clutch's etc...

Anyone else confirm my impressions?

I will find their number for you tomorrow and post on here unless someone can beat me to it.

I knew someone would beat me to it.

Any progress with the car wah?

Not yet mate spoke to Pete early in the week and we think it may be that it had a UK engine fitted when it was replaced this was before I got it, however it needs to be looked at also the turbo may not be off a Jap WRX either so this could be causing problems, it also isn't boosting upto a bar which can be sorted no problem so I have been told plus the output of my car is tops 240 so looking at maybe getting a later ECU maybe off a 94/95 WRX

Triple X 06 February 2004 06:07 AM

Hope you get it all sorted mate, bit of a nightmare eh?!

wah 06 February 2004 08:55 AM

Yeah bit of a pain in the @rse but nothing that can't be sorted just want that little extra power you know how it is mate, still got to fit my STI rear clusters and electric folding mirrors yet once I have them sprayed so that should keep me busy until Pete can take a look at it

Prosport at Stockport are tops

First garage I have been to where i don't feel I am being fleeced

Mine was in earlier this week with a knock on the front suspension Turned out to be just loose front strut bolts, so did not charge me for it. Also had 4 wheel geometry setup done on the car, This has eliminated the intial understeer I always seemed to get with my car. Totaly transformed the handling, would recomend that mod to anybody.
