Don't try to out Handle a Ka in a Nissan sunny in the WET which is unfortunately fitted with ROAD CHAMP tyres. :D:D

The result at entering a bend at the foot of a hill...Massive amounts of understeer, followed by rear end drifting out when the front decided to snatch back.

Still immense fun, but the Ka got away dammit :mad:

2 months left for this banger to live and it still refuses to die!! ;)

I'm not sure why I posted this....just thought I'd share it! (and have another opertunity to have a dig at those lethal Road Champs ;) )

Never underestimate the handling of a KA!

I know the feeling, my 205xs came with Gungh-Ho Ditchfinders on the front, it would wheelspin in 3rd in the wet without any trouble. Fun when you're in the mood, lethal when you're not....

Hee hee no not yet, I've not got it sideways yet, mainly cos I live in Glasgow and don't want to take out a building...

Gah reading this thread reminds me of the rather crappy in the wet tyres I have on my mr2 turbo atm, if the car in the front cleans his windscreen it creates enough water in the atomsphere to send my back end kicking out :lol: must go and get some goodyear eagle f1s sorted :D

The Ford Ka is suprisingly good in standard form.

My fiancee's one has Ford 14" alloy wheels with Continenal tyres and they offer ample grip for the car, especially in the wet. The suspension is well balanced and quite predictable!

The only things I don't like about the car are the poor brakes as standard (and even with uprated pads, it leaves a lot to be desired) and the power steering is far too light!

My CRX has 14" alloys on it at the moment with Kwik Fit's finest on them... Cheets. They're fine as long as you don't want to drive with any fun what so ever!! I have a set of 15" Honda alloys in the garage with Yokohama tyres on them, so that should fix the car! ;)

My girlfriend had one as a courtesy and I was amazed at how well the thing gripped around roundabouts. Horrible car inside but very nice to drive on the edge. Gokart like handling.
