How do you capture stills from dvd movies. Are there any programs I can download?

Power DVD allows you to capture a frame!!

assuming your playing them on pc, just press the print screen button, open up paint chose edit then paste.
If you just see black you'll need to go to start -> display -> settings -> advanced -> troubleshoot and turn hardware exceleration to none :)
