Hi folks,

We have two seperate AD forests and would like to know the best methods of either merging them or allowing administration between the two.

We already have trusts in place between the domains with each forest, but it's causing more hassles than it seems to be worth especially with our new Exchange 2003 rollout.

Ozzy,
I think you may have to move domains from one forest to another, then remove the empty forest. (but don't quote me on that !)

One of two things

use Ad migration tool, to migrate one domain to the other, or migrate them both to a new domain/forest

or upgrade them both to Windows 2003 and then you can use an interforest connector, as both Exhange 2k3 and Win2k3 can talk to other forests, including shared global address lists across forests
