Allan,
Cant remember why, but I am sure last Monday I said I would let you know the outcome of my MOT... passed :) Check engine light diagnosed as throttle position sensor so wasnt the MAF which I suspected, so had no effect on emmissions. Steve |
Hey Stevie,
havent seen you in a while, hows the car running? theres been no distressed aircraft signals recently, so Im guessing you got the allignment fixed on your lights? ;) Andy |
lol @ Andy!:D (yes he has btw ;):))
|
Hey Andy! :) how are you?
Yeah, car is running o.k. Had a few bits done last Friday - gearbox oil changed, MOT which as above; passed with just me changing the wiper blades and a bulb before-hand. Had a slight idle problem which resulted in CEL just before xmas.... turned out to be Throttle Position Sensor which may need to be changed. Not too sure where it is located, but may just need a good clean?? Hows yours... back on the road yet ? See you soon Steve |
fingers crossed mate, but right now its having 17" OZ super-leggs fitted and balanced :)
hopefully be back with us this evening/afternoon (and cant bleedin wait thats for sure):D |
Andy,
How did you get on ......back on the road? Hopefully see you at the next meet. Steve |
:(
another couple of days, but apparently its imminent |
Know exactly how you feel Andy. A well known local bodyshop and Subaru dealer managed to drag it out for 2 months! :( Sure it'll be back on the road soon though :)
Stevie - you got the gearbox oil changed at last ;):D Does it go into gear any better now :p Chris |
Chris,
Amazingly it now feels alot better :) .....major mechanical parts work sooooo much better with lubrication :D :D ;) Steve |
aye, its pish a'reet
|
StevieB, good to know it passed and that the CEL was not related to the exhaust change. Spoken to a few other people and there should be no problems. Peanuts about time you got your car back!
