There are pro's and con's to anti-lag, the biggest con is the fact its illegal to use on the road, it also causes more wear on your turbo, the good side is that you get lots of flames :D but thats about is, you wont notice any real performance gains over some of the newer technology thats coming into play now.

i have stupid questions but can i have my car remapped with a tek2 can i get antilag on that?

No. The TeK2 is a standard map that doesn't include any form of ALS.

Some mappers may be able to get some form of lag-reduction strategy with a custom JECS/Denso map (i.e. a TeK3), but the only way to do it properly is with an aftermarket ECU like the GEMS, Link or Motec.

You would also need to make further supporting modifications, including the removal of the servo assistance on the braking system (and hence probably removal of ABS if your car has it). It also, as Tony says, rapidly increases wear on the turbocharger (and other components). To give you an extreme example, WRC turbos have to be rebuilt every 400 miles!

TBH there's no need for it on a roadcar. Given the cost and other practical implications, it's not even worth thinking about. You would gain a lot more by learning how to drive your car optimally.

So basically its not really worth having it

this isnt being synical, Its just that I've asked questions on this board before ,and the replies I've had (esp from GM) have been near enough to 100% ,after making more enquiries (sorry GM) for me to take note
