Did any O' Y'all watch Horizon (BBC2 9pm) yesterday?
It was about the PG Tips monkeys torturing/butchering other chimp colonies, ripping other primates to bits and even grabbing human babies and eating them! I fcuking hate the little feckers now! |
what, the actual ones from the adverts?
|
Yeah, they reckon the caffeine sent them tonto!
|
I did, yes. Sort of disappointing ending though i thought; saying that the chimps they'd studied in Gombe were warped because of human intervention.
Still, amazing that they're 99+% the same DNA. I wonder if they'll ever cross a chimp/human egg/sperm thingy. Could be interesting... |
They have been musings on making human-chimp chimaera for years, it has been technically possible for a while. It would be interesting to see what characteristics are inherited by each species, in some cases the results may be remarkably close to the originals ;)
|
Yes, it could all be a bit chaotic, don't you think? :)
|
lol :D
|
They were just like humans - take football hooligans for example. Same principle of enjoyment from organised violence, adrenaline pumping, gaining dominance and gang bonding. They loved getting one over - just like humans.
Very insightfull! |

I think those Monkeys need a good spanking myself.
Anyway, what Chimps do is no different to humans, were just more sneaky. |
