markbluemica 04 January 2004 07:06 PM

one word stunning mate:)

SiBurt 04 January 2004 07:10 PM

Thanks mate. The de-tango was done by a mate of mine with a bodyshop as i didnt have the balls to do it myself!

Silver Scooby Sport 04 January 2004 07:12 PM

Darren

SiBurt 04 January 2004 08:25 PM

Yes Darren my last car was a real beaut.Unfortunately i dont have too much of an imagination, cos ive gone for the same colour scheme again!

Danny B 04 January 2004 08:34 PM

STi M'8 04 January 2004 09:21 PM

A real good looking 8 mate !!!

You just convinced me to remove the STi stickers on the front covers ;)

talizman 04 January 2004 09:28 PM

Looks cracking mate.

Love the black wheels and flaps.

De-badged boot works a treat, but I'm not in agreement about the fog covers.

Makes it look like a WRX IMHO. (not that there is anything wrong with that, but its not how its meant to look)

:D

SiBurt 04 January 2004 10:16 PM

Once again, thanks for all your comments.

The blue bulbs are the Xenons that John Griffin was supplying last year and no,i havent had any problem with the law over them.

As far as the covers are concerned,if you're a true enthusiast you dont need a sticker to tell you that it's a STi-the scoop should give that away!Once again, this is my own personal opinion.

talizman 05 January 2004 11:02 AM

Personally, my initial opinion, as an enthusiast, would be that someone has stuck an STI 8 scoop on a WRX.....

f1 05 January 2004 03:56 PM

I think it look the absolute dogs m8 !!

lovely looking car

:)

I presume that is exactly what he wants people to think whilst he is queued up at the red traffic light :D
A wolf in almost a wolfs clothing ;)

lightning101 05 January 2004 05:51 PM

Considering the cost of OEM Subaru parts - Fog lamp covers, STi 03 seats and interior, dash, six speed gearbox, Scoop, Pink badge, £750 spoiler and £1000 of alloys and tyres and exhaust.

Cost of WRX new £20k,

Cost of STi new £24k

Just spend the 4k on the real thing rather than painting and fitting the above. SO I think most will recognise it as an STi. Diffrent case on old classis as part can be bought on the cheap.

SiBurt 05 January 2004 07:45 PM

Thanks, once again. My heads starting to swell now lads!

Im off to Nobles on the 24th for the rolling road day organised by one of the Scooby Si's,so it'll be intresting to see what she's putting out.

SiBurt 12 January 2004 09:24 PM

Just for TVR Gary!:D

TVR Gary 13 January 2004 11:23 AM

Cheer SiBurt......... would look better if it was blue haha

supertouring 13 January 2004 12:33 PM

Nice to see a good looking silver one for a change, rather than the std blue. I like them subtle, and you have got it just right. I would stick a WRX spoiler on it and keep everyone guessing, but that is my opinion. Have you lower it yet?

SiBurt 13 January 2004 07:05 PM

Of course! It has the obligatory Prodrive spring kit and geometry set up:D

And "light smoke" Pentagon Supaglass!

Monkeh 13 January 2004 09:55 PM
