Hi All

First time post, so hope Iam on topic http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Can anyone point me at some links that describes the way the torque is split in an open differential. I know its normally 50/50 but I need info on what happens under +ve and -ve slip ratios. If anyone knows how it works or any links that may help that would be great.

Thanks for your time.

Chris,

Here is another link for you to look at. It may be of more use than the first one.

Many thanks for the links guys http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif I have had 3 days fo searching the web for anything other than basic principles of a diff. The Torsen white paper is handy but still lacks the basic knowledge I need to model the diff.

Guess I need to ask around a little more http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
Thanks for the help.

What you need is traction control, not diff theories....... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
