If you are considering a downpipe or a full scoobysport system, maybe this 4MB AVI might make up your mind for you

Andy W 25 March 2001 08:16 PM

why didnt you hold it until the redline?

would have sounded better?

bruce 27 March 2001 03:08 PM

Sound's Really good, is that a standard dump valve with an induction kit?

DanTheMan 28 March 2001 09:32 PM

On the second run the clutch slipped badly and it redlined in 1st & 2nd, bang bang flames etc, but I dont like hammering it too much, its my little baby !!
Its got a full s/s system, pipercross induction kit and a bailey dump valve (vta)

kevinburn 28 March 2001 11:28 PM

I'm no expert on this, but you'll need a decat exhaust and an ecu that still lets fuel through on overrun. A dump valve helps.

ZAZ 29 March 2001 04:34 PM

How much does a complete Scoobysport system cost?

DIGGY 29 March 2001 07:36 PM

ZAZ,

For prices try here

logiclee 29 March 2001 08:39 PM

On the downside the fuel could be ingnited in the turbo http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif and the lamda sensor could sense an overich mixture and lean off the air/fuel ratio, not what you want when you get back on the power.

So lets get this straight.... If I fit a Dump valve to atmosphere, this along with the blitz back box will be enough to give flames / pops..etc ???
There is a lot of conflicting information here !

DazV 03 April 2001 06:26 PM

Dan,

If you like, you can get that clip down to about 1/10 of its size eg. 400k with no loss.

DazV 03 April 2001 06:31 PM

400k version of your clip here:

Typical, you use a tiny bit more bandwidth than average to host an .avi, and the hoster drops you!
