Has anyone studied for a Diploma in guilt at a RC School? I did. Having *never* believed I still feel 'wrong' when I 'blaspheme', It's a fcuking conditioned response.
Preaching to a captive audience of 4 to 16-year-olds. How dangerous/wrong is that!? Should be fcuking outlawed. Christ, how guillty do I feel for saying that!? |
You are going to hell. Now say 1,000,000 hail marys..

Can I opt my children out of religious education?
|
I got kicked out of RE for constantly enquiring where the woman Cain killed Abel over came from, being they were the kids of the only couple on earth. Also, preists don't like you to discuss dinosaurs, evolution or our ape ancestry.

But having been forcibly brought up to follow the teachings of Cathol (whoever he was) don't you find the movie Dogma even funnier - or is that just me?

I went to a catholic high school and was forced to do RE as a GCSE subject.
As a protest my grades were all A's in maths, design, physics, economics and french, a B in chemistry, C's in English lit and language and a G in RE :D Steve [Edited by Steve Sherwen - 12/31/2003 5:09:09 PM] |
I did RE / RS at school and chose to do it at GCSE level as part of the thing was that got to Jerusalem for a weeks holiday / learn about the culture bit. Found it an easy subject as only had to remeber small parts of the bible to get a decent pass (got an A in it)
PS did not go to a cathlic school and haven't been in a church since apart from wedding and funerals! Richard |
Steve Sherwen - Great minds.......
I got a U. Filled in name on the paper, sat and stared at wall for 2 hours. Much to the annoyance of Fr.McMahon. :D |
I filled in a lot of joke answers and was amazed to get a G!
