I'm getting mine done with a 45,000 service from an ex Subaru dealer near Preston Costing £339 inc vat and labour. They said the belt costs about £100 for genuine OEM one + fitting. Don't know if this is a good deal as it's the first service I've done on my WRX

Whats the price you've been quoted or paid to have your cambelt changed(import)and did you supply the belt yourselfs?
Cheers
Darren

I had a new belt fitted at Park Lane UK in Alton, Hants at 57k. Total service was about £250. WRX Sti MY98.
Brilliant outfit by the way.

Charlie H,
Suppose its Gibsons.
Yes the belt is £99 for the real subaru item,
Why dont you just take it to a ordinary garage ?any good mechanic can change a cambelt ,be it a fiesta 950 or impreza.
Got mine done for about £170 all in.

£150(inc. VAT)at Midland Impreza (Nuneaton) (024 76373555) for cambelt change. Nice blokes and good service, also lots of STI spares.

Scooby nutter, yes it's Gibsons. A few people on here recommended them and as I've got some friends in Preston I thought I'd go over for the night and get the car done next day. Standard service I'll get done locally but I've had a new cambelt fail on a previous car so I didn't want to take the chance with this one
