This may be a really dumb question but what would happen if you put the ecu from an Sti in a UK spec car?

Pete,

It may not work because the pinout for the UK and STi ECUs is a little different, but it may be sufficiently similar.... anyway, the boost profile may not be best good for the TD04 turbo in a UK car, and the ignition advance profile may be too agressive. Guess the only way to know is to try, and to keep a close eye on mixture and det, just be careful!

Cheers,

Pat.
