Been pondering at work whilst waiting to know if we've got to move out of the office due to foot an mouth.

Ponderings have been about intercoolers (sad or what! or maybe cool (sic) http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif). Oh these are ponderings and I'm not about to go an do any of this, well, unless someone wants to give me the money or do it for free http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Front mount IC's.
They really any benefit, given that, I think, the extra pipework to get to the engine does not eliminate the benefit? Think they do look quite smart.

Correct me if I'm wrong but on all the front mount cars I have seen they get rid of the normal IC and therefore you go and grab a sport's bonnet.
Is it possible to keep the standard IC [b]and[b] fit a front mount? would that bet better/worse? would look quite good, plus it would mean that the scoop would still acutally do something.

If it was a case of just having front mount IC, would leaving the scoop on the bonnet do any harm? I'm guessing that (IC shield under scoop) it would actually help as more air could get in and thus cool engine?

So, what front mounts can you get, and what's the cost? (just curious)

sorry for the weird question but just had to ask.

now I gotta come up with and even weirder one for next time http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
