I see the to$$er won an award on Top Gear.

Now being a Pc myself this may come as a surprise to most of you, but I think the bloke has lost the plot. Or has he?

Its no coincidence that he's chairman of the Association of Chief Police Officers Traffic Commitee. Me wonders whether his stance is all just political. With naff policies like his, he can get his name all over the media, so next time there's a vacancy for a Chief to a Metropolitan Force or HMI's job going, who's going to be in the forefront?

Meanwhile the poor people of North Wales have to pay the price in the meantime.

I'm amazed at how he got in the position where he is with that attitude.

Seems it's fine to put someone who hates motorists with a vengence in such a high position.

Sort of like the equivelant of putting a racist in charge of ethnic welfare ;)

This is one of the reasons why people have no faith in the police.

How has someone with a vendetta against one crime so great that he ignores nearly all other crime becuae of it risen to the lofty position he now holds. The oher thing is that why is everyone who interviews him so scared to ask him the questions we all want asked - probably becuase he refuses to allow them to be asked -which in itself is something to worry about.

The road going public hear his views, see the result of his actions and are unsurprisingly unhappy that the policing they pay for is being carried out this way.

Unfortunately access to the likes of Brunstrom is nigh on impossible so they take it out on the 'visible' police officers such as those they meet on the streets (or come into contact with on this board for instance) which is somewhat unfair.

Some day soon someone somehwere is going to have to be brave enough to sack the likes of Brunstrom and others like him otherwise the public's perception of the police will be tranished for ever.

Sorry for yet another long reply - I guess I could have just said he's a **** (which of course he is) and left it at that. :D

tiggers.

And, of course, what do fascist dictators fear the most? The truth.
We mustn't let that get out, must we?
