Winterval..:eek: WTF is that all about?? Check this out

Birmingham City Council used the phrase to describe its programme of festive family events over Christmas and the New Year.

"I confess I laughed out loud when our city council came out with Winterval as a way of not talking about Christmas." said Rt Rev Mark Santer on hearing the news.

you should know that as a member of an ethnic minority (pinky/whiteish) that you cant have .....shhh (ch*****as)

we can have diwali and any other religous festival cos that dosent offend anyone (including us??) but we cant appear to be non pc...


try this,, go into your place of work on the fist day back, and as for any other religous festivals off,,,

we had a guy at our place used to take CHRISTMAS off with the work force, and then got another 10 days paid to take his own religous festival later in the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now in theory, he should have been in and worked chrimbo....

thats why its a pc farce... its only pc because they make it so...

local government is so pc its almost like haveing religous police..

yet we dont like them when they operate in other countrys...

Not allowed Christmas tree near us. Council refused to have one one the little green. But allowed the jews to have the Candle stick thing.....


It will get worse....wont be long before they ban Catholic churches.

Its amazing how the number of practicing christians going to church is decreasing year by year, yet Xmas has never been so popular, LOL

I can see it now, you can only celebrate xmas and have time off work if you can prove you go to church regularly :D

Xmas isn't religous, its all about getting a pair of socks from Gran if you go by the populous :D

They could convert them into Mosques! :)
