Apple, haven't planned on bringing the DIN kits in, IIRC the combination of gauges in the kit is not what people normally choose, but if you specifically want a set, I'll get some sent over for you?

Maddog, see my reply previous to this one above.

Apple 31 December 2003 11:30 AM

Mike,

I'd originally planned on getting the DIN set and probably a psi reading boost gauge with control unit as I'm not that bothered about a dash pod - I've already a road angel and sat nav there taking up space and to have 3 gauges would look a bit too bling ;)

It was because I wanted oil temp & pressure and water temp, I liked the idea of the DIN set and put the seperate boost gauge at the base of the A pillar in either a defi pod or one of your single gauge pods if defis fit...

Hi Mike,

I might be intrested in the din setup. what is the gauge combination that can be supplied.

many thanks in advance

kevin

Apple 31 December 2003 06:02 PM

Kevin,

Have a look on the US Defi DIN-gauge page - it's a standard combination of 2x temp & 1x pressure gauges (all in SI units) rather than specifying what you want

Apple 10 January 2004 10:40 PM

BTTT for Mike :)

MadGrip 10 January 2004 10:57 PM

how long before the pods arrive Mike ??

Phil

WRX_Rich 11 January 2004 12:47 AM

i phoned him this week (Wednesday i think) said they are still 3 weeks away for the defi one - seems every one else has to order them from Japan and have none in stock

I ve phone nitosport about 20 times this week and they never answer the phone

my kingdom for a defi pod lol :)

Apple 11 January 2004 12:57 AM

so that's why "defi" translates as "challenge" :D

MadGrip 14 January 2004 07:58 PM

Gauges arrived today from the USA.. look V.Nice.. Just need the pod & fitting now.

Can you send this back to the top or email me as per profile when you have the pods in please

Cheers

Hi latest news scoobyclinic have just got the defi style 52mm and 60mm center dash pods for the early classic!(three gauge housing) had a look today very nice they also have lots of reverse indiglo gauges in stock and loads of a pillar mounts single double and triple for both new age and classics.

MadGrip 15 January 2004 09:27 AM

Cheers SpecialX. I spoke to scoobyclinic this morning but they still have no 3 gauge dash pods for the bugeye in stock. I'm getting quite keen to get these fitted now so hopefully they'll have some by next week.I also tried scooby mania & they say "next weeks" aswell

Aren't Nitosport the exclusive distributor of DEFI equipment in the UK?

If so, then they're not doing a very good job for Defi Japan if you called 20 times and no one is answering!

:(

I'm gonna be getting mine from a mate in the far east now. :)

Then have someone fit the whole lot over here.

WRX_Rich 15 January 2004 10:01 PM

had the gauges 7/8 week, 2 weeks trying nitosport (still no answer) god knows how many times scoobymania, roger clark motorsport Rc development and Ji performance.. no one has them in to be fair Ji performance said they could have some in 1/2 weeks if i ordered them but I thought i would wait till they had them in stock

specialx 15 January 2004 10:23 PM

No they aren't, we (Scooby Mania) bought Defi products into the UK before any other 'dealer'. We're also the largest and best priced because of it Official Defi Distributor in Europe!
