Hi all,

excuse the silly question, but would fitting a standard backbox on a catless car cause any problems?

I ask this because I am taking my car to the Nurburgring and do not want to be thrown out due to noise.

I currently have a magnex / scorpion setup.

Cheers,

Sonu

DON'T DO IT.

I have an STI 5 which had a full SS exhaust which I thought was far too loud. Put back the standard backbox and the car felt strangled. Have now found a quieter silencer from TSL in Nottingham and the car is back to normal.

Chris, could you post a piccie/price/details? I'm looking for a BB that is not nasty that isn't too loud.

Matt.
