How inconsiderate.

It wasn't me. No one saw me do it.

seriously though, my WRX arrives in February-March and my Flex's in early Feb. How much is there to "remove" before getting onto the rear mounts ?

Will also be looking at the whiteline rear bar 22-24mm adjustable.

What a bitch of a job!
You will need all the above, vet flexible hands with fingers as long and nible as Gollum, and the magic of Gandalf to remove and change the rear strut mounts inside of 2 hours.
Now I know whay the Rally boys cut all that (razor sharp) panel work away....
You wont regret the White Line ARB.
Graham.

I removed the rears in under the hour !!!
Remove seat.
Jack the rear up untill the wheels are just lifted.
Remove wheels, disconnect the brake lines.
Undo the lower 2 bolts.
Undo the upper 3 bolts.
Finished.

PS : I can use my dealerships space and tools, very easy then...

Cheers Graham, she's understeering like a pig at the moment so it can't hurt!

In the past, I've just undone the top nut and left the top mount on the car - using its weight to lower that top mount back into place again. Arsing around with springs recently - I've had them off a total of four times in the last couple of weeks. Sooo tempted to cut the parcel shelf :)
