Dooes anyone know where i can get a replacement steering rack (new or fairly new) for my 93 saloon wrx at a good price.I think im right in saying it is all in one piece

You can order a new one from 'Graham Goode Motors' -search on google.

For a import 1993WRX you are looking at~£600 +vat and 3 weeks delivery.

I thought about a second hand one which costs about £150 +vat but you take the chance of the rack being worn or taken off a crash damaged car. I was advised against it.

If you know any local subaru dealers who are friendly towards imports they may be able to get the parts from japan for you.

you can get the rack reconditioned for £150. They cost a fortune new. Speak to Grade A subaru, they can send the rack away and have it back in around 1 week.
