Matt, very plausible, happened when span mine and smacked the front wheel into a kerb, the wishbone WASNT bent, just needed a new rim and geometry but the wheel bearing started to whine soon as Steve Lawson took it out for a test drive after the other bits were sorted, needless to say it had to be replaced http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

I'm just glad it is not any worse than it is! Do you know if the wheel bearings on imports are different to UK cars? I don't suppose Subaru will sell me one will they? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

Not sure, i imagine they would be the same, - go there without the car (i.e. in a non subaru) other than that whoever services your car or a local motor factor should be able to get you one?, sorry mate, its the blind leading the blind now!

Mattski

We've had to replace quite a few bearings, all from impact damage.

It's more than possible.
