is there a limit to how much you can lower an impreza turbo as i've been told 25mm is the limit and i was looking at h&r which say 50mm but this is not model specific anyone know how much they lower the turbo models and if there are any good (my99)(just springs)

Prodrive and Eibach lower the car about 2-2,5cm so they must know something about, do you think?

lower it too much and you will destroy the drivability and handling characteristics of the car...

i had H&R on my first subaru... handled like poo ;)
too damn low. sold the springs and opted for something with less of a drop....

Eibach make several decent spring kits which make the car handle fantastically.... less body roll, less nose dive, more control.

good luck to ya

Almost every Impreza I've seen lowered 'sensibly' on 17's shows the rim of the wheel to be at the same level as the swage line in the front wing/doors.
Should the car have a slight 'nose down' attitude?
On a 911, the 1 degree nose down stance is realy important!
Thoughts?

The H&Rs lower the car about 25mm on Australian MY99-00 WRX, which is the same as the UK GT. Ride is good and handling much improved. The 50mm figure comes from the US where their cars are much higher to start with.
