I remember when they where (like so many others) touted as the next Rolling Stones but bands like Oasis, Pulp and Blur overshadowed them.The leaving of Bernard Butler didn't help of course and although Richard Oakes was good he didn't quite get there....

IMHO they are a class act. A hyped up unoriginal band like Oasis are pants next to them. Dog Man Star is a must have album.
Morrissey is a big fan FFS :)
