I've posted this in general technical but had no replys. Can anybody help?

I've just been to get mine fitted and discovered the hole for the sensor(lamda???) is at the bottom of the original pipe and near the top of the scoobysport downpipe. The cable looks like it will fit to the top of the pipe easily enough but the hole for the sensor looks too big.Is there a plug or something that can cure this? Has anybody else had this problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Zippy

The sensor at the bottom of the downpipe (on all 93-96 cars) is for the cat temp sensor. You can unplug this from the loom, near the air filter and discard it.

the sensor on the bottom is a cat temp sensor and not a lambda, all i did was removed the cat sensor. and i plugged the lambda hole with a blanking plug from tsl.

Is it just me or did you just tell two suppliers that has just helped you that you're going to call up one of their rivals? :D

No when i rang scoobysport they just said it was the same thread as a spark plug and ecotech recommended tsl.So its just you:D
