Hi

What are the differences between a 97 STI4 and a 98 STI5

Thinking of buying, but not sure which to go for.

Thanks in advance
Lee

I think the STI IV model was classed as a MY98 and the STI V in MY99, but aside from that to get the ball rolling I know the V had a much bigger spoiler, a different turbo (quicker to spool up), a phase II engine less prone to piston slap, a newer front end with different fog lights and slightly firmer suspension.
