I have just got a bugeye, and don't mind the lights, has anybody removed the orange cover inside the lights and replaced them with silver tech bulbs. I know that the lights will have to be split to do this, however will silver tech bulbs be ok when it comes to MOT test time.

As long as they flash amber which of course, Silvatec bulbs were designed to do....so shouldn't have any problems....
