Hi all,

Anyone know for sure where the IC waterspray tank is on a MY97 Type RA? A pal said it might be sharing the windscreen spray tank, is this right?

Cheers :)

Probably no help at all but on my 94 STi its drivers side at the front, kinda behind the headlight but back a little, it has a yellow cap on it and it says water only on the side.

Cheers for that. To be honest i'm a bit concerned since my pals MY98 Type RA has it there also... Eeeek.

Thanks anyway! :)

The bottle that we used on our STi6 rally car is a combined one, located in front of the near side strut tower.

Brilliant, so that'll be it... a combined one :)

I just really needed to know if they existed on Subarus.

Thanks

If it's a combined one then the bottle will have two pumps, one for the windsreen and the other for the intercooler. If it doesn't then you have no way of getting the water to your nozzles. You could also follow the tubing back from the nozzles (you do have these don't you?).... where they stop is where they are fed from ;)

Tony.

Yup, cheers, it does have 2 tubes going up into the bonnet (windscreen spray and intercooler spray). A pal did have a look and suggest that is what it could be originally but i was confused as to why some RA's have combined and others seperate?
