Hi all,
I plan to do Ecu chipping on my MY98 car. Unfortunately is no Unichip /www.dastek.za/ dealer. I have founded one in Hungary but he is unable do it due 4WD rolling road missing /only FWD/. He sudgested me Superchips but I`am not sure if is safety modification. Another question is fuel ecnonomy. Unichip can lower fuel cons. at normal drive. Can Superchips do that too? Erik |
Erik.
There are lots of topics regarding 'chipping'. Try a search for 'Superchip' or something. My advice would be to steer well clear of Superchips though. Stef. |
Erik,
the fuel consumption issue can go both ways. When my Unichip was fitted we had to add fuel throughout the rev range as it was far too lean. Disapointingly, I now only get 170miles from a full tank.....I used to get 210....doh! |
