usb ports are disabled, no control panel or my computer access?

Knackered then, cos the flash pen works as a removeable drive (but I'm sure you knew that already)

I've tried F2 set up and enabled usb but a colleague reckons cos were not on Win 2000 / XP I'd need a usb driver

You're network probably has policies set to prevent you using the bits they don't want you to.

If the info on the flash pen is work related, you'll have to ask yout IT people to load it for you.

Shame - its completely not work related - ho hum will have to wait until tonight and get a mate to do it!
