I take it its a clothes de-fuzzer? Cant you just get one of the manual brush ones - a granny or similarly old relly must have one kicking around

try an electric razor - not the ones with round end thingys but the flat foil types - similar in a way

give it a go on an inconspicuous part of the jumper first though

and please note that the writer of the above absolves himself from any balme or damage caused by any person following said instructions :D
