A (slightly) tongue-in-cheek entry to begin with, I call it:

'Long Winter Nights (how do you spend yours?)'

http://www.cawte.nildram.co.uk/Night-time1-web.jpg

Canon EOS 1D, 0.6 sec, f/13, ISO 200, 24-70 f/2.8L @ 70mm.

Please keep this thread for competition entries only - discussions here :)

Good luck everyone :D

On behalf of ProperCharlie, I am proud to host:

"Fire and Whisky"

http://www.schoolboost.com/4Mark/fire_and_whisky.jpg

Taken on an Olympus E20 with a wide angle attachment.

EXIF information tells me:

Speed: 2 sec

Shutter: f2.0

Focal length: 9mm

ISO setting: 80

I have resized to the originally agreed (I thought) 800pix along the longest edge...

Cheers,
