Either way the gearbox will have to come out you can inspect the clutch at this time. If the biting point is near the top of the pedal then it may well be the clutch however it is quite likely to be syncros give me a bell if you need help repairing your gearbox

being as you says its "all gears", I would go along the lines of clutch worn out, almost to the point of slipping in fact [but not quite]. Well, as said above, the box has to come out anyway, so not much to check the clutch assembly first before sending the box away for repair [if needed].

cheers lads. is there a minumin dimensions on the clutch that i can check. any ideas on the prices of new clutch's and syncros. how do you know if the clutch is worn just by looking at it is there any wear indicators on it or somethin

syncrhos IMO, not clutch. How can clutch be on the point of slipping but not slipping?, but still affect gear selection????

my clucth was slipping like hell early in the year, but i could still get the gears, when i couldnt (due to fast changes) i double clutched!

synchros IMHO
