Wonder if anyone could ease my worry regarding a slow dripping of oil between the rubber/plastic tube from the turbo and the inlet to the i/c?
Is this something normal? My car is a low milage MY99 UK spec. carefully driven.
What could cause this leakage?

The Oil came from the turbo inlet housing. If there is plenty of oil inside the I/C then... ur engine might suffer knocking coz tha oil will get into the combustion chamber.

U turbocharger might suffer from oil seal leakage ... have it check and change.... QUICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could be there is a blockage at the oil return pipe too from the T/C ... to the oil sump..... hmmmmmmmm...maybe

BUT I think iz the T/C .... oil seal.

Eh.... have ur mechanic or dealers to check it and fix it soon .. like yesterday.

Noone else that can contribute on this subject?! Or is DYNT´s reply the right answer?
I´m a bit concerned to put it mildly so anyone, please!

My my 98 is also moist in this area(oh-er!)

I asked my dealer to have a look and he said its very common and is not a problem so long as there is not an excessive amount inside the pipe and the engine oil level is not dropping.
He reckoned it was coming from the breather system which is plumbed into the pipe work just before the turbo.

My oil level does not drop between services and there is no smoke at start up or when driving so I an not worried about it,what is strange though is that tightening the clip has not stopped it from happening.
