Tried the Bitannia and Sachas in the centre of town. Anybody care to recommned any reasonably priced others as I've eaten my way through both room service menus!

Depends what you are looking for? Lowry is (officially, at least) the only 5 star hotel in town. The Midland is up there with it. Piccadilly Hotel past its best but very convenient,
Malmaison up nr Piccadilly station is good, and food good.
Centre of town has Jury's, Travelodge and usual suspects.

The Four Seasons at the airport used to be very nice.

I'm on expenses, but have a limit of £60 per night!! So 5* is well out of my league!!!

Get down to travel lodge ... £45 per night ... £15 .. remaining .. thats 3 porno's for you ... lol :)
