Erring on Amsterdam and just got a quote for a double room for 4 nights at £210 - its says its near the centre - but anyone know for sure how far is 'near' ???

Haarlem isn't Amsterdam - its about a 30min train ride from Amsterdam city centre.

Haven't used the site before - stubmled across it a while back

Only cos I cant access Google at work during office hours (unless they forget to switch the websense on) - it seems only to work before 9am and after 5pm.

So I aint being lazy!!

LOL thats a bit tight with the old Websense then! Who ever controls that needs a kick in the nadgers for being lazy and not blocking sites by zone etc :D

I think they do do that but they also block specific sites following 'abuse' - you definitely cant use the google image search anytime!!

however I have managed to get an extreme anal site on my monitor before - 100% accident, explaining that was quite embarrassing :D

LOL yeah I wasn't told that one of our proxies was down and that websense was off so when I went to test what server I was on I typed in what would normally be a blocked site with sex in the address and it fooking came up on my 21" monitor right in the middle of the office :eek: Never switched my monitor off so quick! :D

I still have a load of sites bookmarked at home from my visit to the 'Dam back in March that I can send over to you later if you want them.

Haarlem is only a 15-20 min train ride from Amsterdam- it's also far superior unless you intend to spend your time in th RLD.
