1/4 mile time?
|
14.5sec ish...
|
ta, ive done a search since and found a similar figure
|
Standard = about 14.8 at best to 15.3
Mine did a 14.4@96 mph with the R sport ECU |
All depending on driver I should add, you would have to be pretty crap to do a best of 15.3! :-)
|
Interesting - enough to give a UK scoob (up to 250bhp) a run for its money.
What's the cup's bhp/ton? |
Mine ran 14.5secs @ 94mph with only 2700 miles on the clock...
Power-to-weight ratio is 169bhp/tonne! However, there are a couple of lads I know with slightly modded ones, they can run 14.1 & 14.0secs @ 98mph! ;) There's also a mk2 172 running aboit 212bhp on TB's that's just hit the road, but as yet no performance figures, but it will be quick! Good fun around the bends and twisties too mind, proper old skool hatch! Edcase followed one around a track day the other day and was well impressed (till it spun) ;) not bad for £13k new either.
Only problem is built quality, the old dear has a standard clio and its a year old with less than 6k on the dial and already rattling, plus seat has wear all over it not very impressive for year old car with extremely low mileage. French just dont' seem to be able to put them together like the japanese. God bless those jap engineers! :D |
Cups get quicker and quicker, this is due to them getting lighter and lighter as bits fall off.
Talking from experience. Jason |
Yep we have a clio and the number of things that break and go wrong grows by the day. Would never buy one again.
