My wife went to the scoob this morning (after I had gone to work) and the passenger side foot well had about an inch of water sitting in it. She removed the mat and soaked up as much water as possible, but was at a loss as to where it came from. She checked all the usual things, windows were fully closed as was the sun roof.

The windscreen was replaced about four weeks ago, but i would have thought any problems with the seal would have shown up before now, the car is washed every weekend using a hose pipe, and no sign of any water until today. I was in the car last night and it was ok then.

I can't find any obvious place the water has come from, the high areas of the foot well are dry.

If anyone has any ideas or could offer any help I would be very grateful.

heater matrix ? heater still blowing hot air out ? car overheating due to water loss (not v likely in the current climate i know)...

Heater is working fine, had it on full bast trying to dry out the foot well. But will check coolant level in the morning.

Has it got aircon? If so this could be your problem. Blocked waste pipe could end up dumping water in the car.
