anyone bought a new shape wrx from the continent?
see they're £16500 at motorpoint and just wondered how cheap they were going in belgium/holland etc.

I bought an EU import from Belgium through Motor Provider Sheffield they only do EU cars and were very good. You get a 3 year warranty with EU cars. Avoid Grey non EU imports from Motorpoint or Trade sales they have no warranty not even 12 months and the spec is suspect - they add their own warranty on by the time they have done that and put an alarm on its around 18K.
A factor with buying EU cars is the exchange rate when I bought mine it was quite good, it has been poor lately check the rate. If the price is right you cant go wrong with an EU car you get no probs with dealers. If x rate is wrong then my advice would be get an ex demo UK car for around 18k with 2-5k on the clock or look out for some good brand new UK cars which have been offered at 18-19k. Do a search have seen lots of theads on this subject.

thanks for the response .... there's a similar thread I started on hear after this one (someone's dug it out from early november!) and I got lots of worthwhile advice would seem the UK route is by far the best.

Ahhhh but you dont get a random spare bracket with a UK car ;)

Motorpoint 03WRX's rae not from Europe. They come from Cypres=no subaru 3year warrenty, no under seal ect. Do a search on here for posts regarding Motorpoint and see what people think of them. Have a look for my post I think it was titled somthing like 03WRX. In short I would not touch them for all the caffeinated beverages in China.
